This series is about five wine corks that started out as one and multiplied to five. They are evidence of my lagre collection, placed in nature. These wine corks clearly state all the wine that my parents drink. I show shape in my photos because all the corks have a distinct shape. Texture is also shown through these photos because you can see the textures on the corks. The most successful thing in my series is the placement of the corks and the focus on each one making the object dominant. I had struggles trying to get my camera to focus on corks because sometimes I would get too close. I fixed this problem by backing up and then zooming in. If I could do this project again I would choose a different object to change it up.
Sara, as I told you in class, I love this series. I keep showing it to other students as an example because it is clean, crisp and to the point. I like the placement of the corks in the natural environment.
